Knot Krisp came about after I started crocheting a Super Mario themed blanket for my nephew in November 2009.  I had some friends who were excited to see its progress and I’ll admit that I was pretty excited about it too.  I wanted to share my progress somewhere aside from Facebook since I wanted it to be a surprise for my sister in law as well as my nephew.  This blog was then born.  I do a lot of crochet so my blog will be supported by my random projects along the way.  I’ll try and include links where I can and folks are always welcome to comment or ask questions.  In fact, I would really like it if you did!  I’ve shown you mine, so show me yours.

A little about me; I’m in my late twenties trying to get into the teaching profession.  While I sort things out for myself I like to crochet.  I have a bachelor’s in art and a master’s in education so I love learning and creating.  This blog lets me share some of my crochet thoughts and hopefully sparks some curiosity in others.
