Before I get into today’s Mario progress I wanted to share this priceless photo of my cat. I stopped by Target to check out their clearance Halloween goodies and picked up this 2 piece pumpkin costume for about $1. I put the collar on her and let her sit with that for a bit, don’t want to throw it all at her at once. She didn’t mind that but I knew the little headpiece wouldn’t go over too well. I put it on and she was pretty annoyed with it but not enough to hide or anything; that’s not her style. I took this photo and a couple others and then promptly removed it. I also put it on my other cat but she didn’t sit still long enough to get any kind of photo worth sharing. They are happy to know that the costume has been packed way. Of course, they don’t know that it’ll be unpacked for Halloween 2010. *evil laugh*
So let’s get to Mario. My usual routine is to come home from school, check the interwebs, and then sit down to crochet. I crank out a bunch of squares in the colors I need but without any thought to what section in particular I will work on. When I get closer to completion I will pay closer attention to how many remaining squares I’ll need. I usually crochet while I watch TV or while my husband and I watch an episode of Star Trek The Next Generation(our current series). The excitement for this project has not yet waned, of course it’s only been 4 days but oh boy I just can’t resist working on it.
